This week we have been learning about the farm animal families. We noticed how the mommy pig called ‘sow’ has her tummy full of nipples but the mommy goat called ‘Nanny’ only has two like my mommy. We rounded up our farm animal theme with a visit to the farm and we noted that it was quite difficult to see which was the mommy and which the daddy but we noted the baby goats, called kids! and the baby horse foal! spring is a time when many baby animals are born!
